At this strategic period, we are focusing our energies on further developing the innovative and sustainable solutions that we initiated five years ago. While always ready with emergency relief, ISAR had transitioned to social and infrastructure recovery and rebuilding. In the next years, ISAR will focus on the development of education, healthcare services, income generation, agriculture food security, safe water and sanitation, as well as innovation, research and development initiatives. I call upon our partners, donors, supporters and well-wishers to join us in moving forward with our vision to bring more people out of poverty and into self-sufficiency.
ISAR Organization In the process of developing our strategic plan for the next years, we have had the chance to look back and reflect on the work that we accomplished since the founding of our organization.
ISAR was established in 2015, in response to the poverty and hunger, unemployment, floods and earthquakes and infectious diseases which claimed thousands of lives. Millions more were at risk of perishing from man-made disasters and environmental catastrophes, and the terrible effects are unfortunately still being felt several years later as new challenges arise every day. I would like to thank ISAR Organization board & staff, ISAR volunteers, community members, partners and funders for participating in and supporting our journey in service for the vulnerable people of Afghanistan.
ISAR Organization looks forward to the next years as we implement our Strategic Plan. With your help we are confident that we will be successful in. our mission and continue to be an organization that we can each take pride in.
